The shared server - prometheus.simpleservers.co.uk has been showing a fault, which resulted in some downtime recently. The server is now back online but we consider the server hardware to be at risk. As a result, we deployed a new replacement server, and copied all the accounts to the new hardware. The final sync is happening at 11 am. The expected down time is 1 hour 30 minutes
At 11 am, we’ll turn off services on the old server, and do a final sync of files and databases to the new server. The IP address of the old server will then be assigned to the new one so customers won’t have to make any changes to their installation, plugins or DNS. Please accept our apologies for any difficulty cause by this issue, We'll keep updated on the progress.
2020-02-12 11:00 - Webserver has been turned off. Final sync started.
2020-02-12 12:05 - Migration complete. Most sites are back online. The ones on dedicated IPs are being reviewed
2020-02-12 15:00 - Dedicated IPs too are working as expected now.
